Thanksgiving Brigade!

How best to move some of the 60+ bags, with food for the 35 families, that Spring Glen Church was responsible for collecting this Thanksgiving season, up front where they could be blessed? Form a "Thanksgiving Brigade!" In the spirit of forming a "bucket brigade," children and adults formed a "Thanksgiving Brigade" during the Sunday service this past week. One by one, a sample of about 1/3 of the bags members donated, were brought forward to the front where they were blessed in the course of the service. Just one way the members of the Spring Glen Church live into the final verse of this Sunday's offertory, "And these, thy gifts, we return, unto thee."
