Mitten Tree & Columbus House Gift Certificates

Now that there is chill in the air, it's time to start thinking about hats, scarves and mittens to hang on the mitten tree. The mitten tree will be up in a corner of the narthex by December first, the first day of Advent. The items hung on the mitten tree will be distributed in January to several organizations serving needy families. Nancy Beals for the Christian Action Committee.

Columbus House Gift Certificates

December is here and it is time to consider a Columbus House Gift Certificate for friends and family on your list.   Gift Certificates will be sold by the Benevolence Committee on both December 8 and December 15 before church in the entry way and during coffee hour upstairs.  A donation of $5.00 per certificate is suggested.  Proceeds are sent to Columbus House to support the agency's programs.
