About the Spring Glen Church

Our Church is Fully Accessible

The Spring Glen Church is dedicated to ensuring every person is welcomed fully into the life of our church.

We offer designated handicapped parking spaces in the north parking lot, with a ramp leading from the parking lot to the noth lobby entrance.  Wheel chairs are available on premises.  An elevator provides access to our basement meeting rooms, Sunday School classrooms, and our second floor Sanctuary Balcony, Choir Room and Great Hall.  Designated Handicapped Restrooms are on floors 1 and 2.

We have a gender-neutral family bathroom with a changing table located on the first floor by the Fellowship Room.

During worship, we offer personal wireless hearing devices and large-print bulletins (please ask the Usher). In the sanctuary we have included an open area for wheelchair seating in the center aisle.

For communion, we offer grape juice and regular pita bread, as well as a gluten-free alternative for the communion bread.  We take care to prevent cross-contamination.

Please contact the church office, any staff member, a Deacon, an Usher, or one of the pastors if you have any other special need.  No matter who you are, or what special needs you may have, you are welcomed here.

Safe Church Policies and Procedures – Adopted 2005

As part of the body of Christ, the Spring Glen Church is called to follow Jesus’ example of respect for the integrity and dignity of all persons. This is summed up in Jesus’ Great Commandment to love God with heart, soul, strength, and mind, and others as ourselves (Luke 10:27).  To follow this commandment is to pursue love, safety, peace, and security for all who come within the reaches of our ministries.

The Safe Church Policies and Procedures of the Spring Glen Church require its members to the best of their ability, provide sanctuary for persons of all ages who are entrusted to its care. They also protect those who have responsibilities as leaders and teachers. We pray our church home will continue to be a haven free of exploitation, intimidation, abuse, misconduct and harassment of any form.
