In this new Christian Ed podcast series, Pastor Jack unpacks big concepts by interviewing great authors of books he's been carrying around in his metaphorical backpack. Our first guest is Dr Grace Yukich of Quinnipiac University, author of One Family Under God, and editor of a new compilation of essays entitled Religion is Raced. Through her research, we take a deeper dive into Islamophobia, intersectionality, the whitewashing of religion in election journalism, as well as how small acts of local civic religion relate to the white Christian nationalism on display during last week's invasion of the Capitol building.
