Every Sunday after worship, our community gathers in the Great Hall for coffee, tea, snacks, and vibrant fellowship. We provide a table with crafts for children so that parents can have a moment of "adult time." Often, information tables are present providing materials on ways to become involved in the church or wider community, and these can range from foster parenting to ways to make your home more 'green.' Our Fellowship Hour also provides time for celebration of particular people in our community. After worship, come on upstairs to meet and greet your church family.
The Memorial Reception Committee provides support and refreshment to families attending Memorial Services at SGC, by offering sustenance and comfort to grieving families and their friends.
Each winter everyone is invited to a Progressive Dinner when small groups of diners rotate among host homes for hors' doeuvres, soup/salads and entrees. Then everyone meets in the Great Hall at church for dessert. For more information contact Carolyn Paul.

Open Door was founded in 1970. Out of Christian concern for our neighbors, the "Open Door" welcomes older members of the community of all faiths to get together in fellowship at Spring Glen Church. We meet at 12:00 on the 1st Wednesday from October to May with members enjoying a luncheon and a program. Lunch costs $5.00. Come along and bring a neighbor! We love to make new friends!
