Reformation Sunday Concert: "A Mighty Fortress!"

The Bethesda Music Series presents our annual Reformation Sunday Concert, featuring J.S. Bach’s Cantata 80, Ein feste Burg is unser Gott (“A Mighty Fortress is Our God”), and a rich program of instrumental and sacred choral music including Bach, Mendelssohn, and Fauré. The hour-long program will take place at Bethesda Lutheran Church, 450 Whitney Avenue, New Haven, on Sunday, October 29 at 4:00pm. The Bethesda Choir will be joined by the choir of Spring Glen Church (UCC), soloists, and orchestra, under the direction of Lars Gjerde and Terese Gemme. The event is free and open to the public. A free-will offering will be collected. A reception will follow the concert.
