“Deeply Rooted●Branching Out”
Annual Women’s Retreat-March 9th -11th
Sign up NOW Open! Sign up sheet is in the entry.
We will come together for this weekend to contemplate how we can root ourselves more deeply in our faith, so that we can branch out and thrive, in a complex and conflicted world. What does the natural world teach us about resilience and renewal? How do stories in scripture show us ways of insight and courageous actions? Using the metaphor of Trees, we will explore Biblical texts, observe nature, and learn how creation speaks of God’s love, power and strength. Incarnation Center provides a serene environment, abundant with forest and trails.
We will enjoy the camaraderie of friends, old and new, a room filled with laughter, singing, prayer and meditation, time for silence, and meals together. We gather for dinner on Friday night and close our time with a Sunday morning communion service. The Rev. Donna Manocchio, spiritual director and experienced retreat leader, will be our guide.
Cost is $ 180 –scholarships available. Because of space limits, up to 22 people can attend. Please use the sign-up sheet in the entry or contact Melissa in the office.
Faithfully yours, The Retreat Planners, Michele Backus, Gayle Logan, Helen Schaefer, Ellen Schowalter, and Clare Robert.
