***Nursery and Toddler Room

There is a distinction between the “Nursery” and the Toddler” rooms. The Nursery is closer to the sanctuary/worship space and is parent-supervised for their own children(birth and older). There is a sound system installed there so parents can listen to the worship service.

The “Toddler Room” is for children who are mobile/walking. Generally, toddlers are three years and younger. Since a pre-K class is now available for 4 year olds and for older 3 year olds who are able to listen well and participate in an easy craft/activity, the number of children in the Toddler Room is more manageable. The Toddler Room is supervised by Brianna and the volunteers.

Brianna Etter-Speaker is an excellent caregiver. As a teacher herself, she has continued to take the initiative to teach the children simple lessons that include activities, songs and games. She has great rapport with the toddlers and parents as well as the 13 volunteers who serve with her. The volunteers rotate and serve 3-4 times during the year. Also, when Brianna is absent, one of the volunteers steps forward and takes her place.
